English singer/songwriter James Walker is an introspective, intelligent & enthralling performer who sings songs of love, loss & healing. Having extensively toured Europe as a pianist, co- writer and collaborator for Adam Barnes, James set his sights on creating his own work informed by his experiences of love and heartbreak, to finding identity within the LGBT+ community, to recovery & rehabilitation from a rare heart condition.
His debut record, ‚English Bones‘, was released in October 2017. Inspired by artists such as Conor Oberst, The Weepies and Damien Rice, but drawing on influences by emo/post-rock bands like Foxing, Pavement & Tigers Jaw, James has performed over 200 shows in the past year over the UK, EU and USA. In 2018, James is looking forward to an extensive tour schedule, co-writing with some friends he met along the way, and recording more material.
